The name John Davis is synonymous with the legendary Burton Spain, who pioneered the art of making high quality full splice blanks for the greatest cuemakers of all time. For many years, John Davis made the blanks supplied to George Balabushka and other legendary cue makers.

John has re-established his business and will make a small quanity of blanks and cues once again following the techniques of Burton Spain.  These are a few samples of his very first works after an absence of over 30 years.

These blanks feature full splice veneered forearms with his own double "V" splice handle. Cues constructed with this time-proven classic hand spliced technique are highly sought after by players and collectors.

John uses much of the same equipment from his Burton Spain days, but with modern improvements in materials and technology.
