Jack Justis

Above, This is my most prized case. It's a stunning palomino suede leather with genuine alligator hide on the reverse. The colors are a perfect match between the leather and the alligator. The tip tapper is gold plated. This one doesn't say "Williards" and you kind of expect it to say "Tiffany's".

It's sometimes kind of difficult to date these items. Good thing Jack shoves some newspaper in the pocket. When I'm bored, I like to read the real estate prices from 1994. I bet they thought those houses on the beach for $40K were pretty steep, huh? Judging by the ads, I guess they didn't use area codes in Ft. Lauderdale in those days.
Above left, a rare find, Steve Feld owns this early Justis case with the J & T logo. This stood for Jack and Toots, his first trademark.  This case is in amazing condition - and just check out the date.

Above right, Steve's collection includes a green suede Justis with python diamonds, and a rare genuine zebra skin case. The fancy pockets and zebra skin makes this one of the rarest Justis cases you will see.

Thanks for the pics, Steve!
One of the  premier case builders of all time, these highly sought after cases are individually custom made and hand tooled. There are three 2 X 4's shown here and one envelope style. These cases range from about $200 for the envelope to $900 to the suede and alligator (far right).

The natural leather is my daily use case. It dates back to 1995 and features extra tooling and scroll accents.  The black case has silver accents and python diamonds, with an optional two pockets .  The envelope-style holster is a 1 X 2 Jack occasionally builds on special request for about $200.

These cases ages gracefully and are every bit as functional as they are beautiful. Their level of workmanship is truly unsurpassed. Jack Justis cases, especially the fanciest ones, are highly prized among collectors.
